Good guide. You could have tried to make a more general one though, you know not specifically targetted at "Travianites". I think this idea of splitting the players into people into those who've played such and such a game in the past and those who haven't is stupid and a little childish.

Why don't you go and add/edit the data on the wiki instead of coming on here going "this is a piece of shit"? This guide should not be stickied imo it should be allowed to sink underneath all the rest of the cruft on this forum.

Drek this was written for travian people for a good reason
Most of nooobs are all travian players and it was realised there were many more needing a start in the game so C69 kindly wrote a guide for them

What you dont realise is that C69 is a prolific poster of these types of guides and strategy ideas etc to help the newbies
This isnt a fault of yours as you dont know him but give him a chance to get around to it as time is a major factor in this type of thing as you well know

This is a specific guide targetted to a specific player so why you say it is useless idk
There are a few travian players that ahve already commented on how much sense this makes and how much it helped them

I'm just trying to say that the effort would be better spent in producing a basic guide that could be understood by any newbie no matter who they are or what game they've played before. Currently this guide is like reading a recipe for strawberry jam that keeps refering back to how to make a cake.

On t'other hand, since this is a TRAVIAN game, it does make sense ye might get a few more travian players, than from other game systems. By showin the similarities, ye also show the dissimilarities, many of which are what has attracted the travian player to the game.

I've never played Travian, but there is some useful stuff even for me in there =)

You do see these guides with other games as well. There are game guides I saw for players going from WoW to WAR for example. I sometimes think they make so many bad links between things they only make it more complex. Something I think c69 has avoided here.

im pretty sure u are wrong. Unicorn Warrior was attacked a bunch by someone and got first place defense for it. And i dont think HT has gotten first place offence for having a huge army, cuz u need to use said army for it to be known that it is strong.

in travian (im assuming here) there are special defense and offense units, thats what they mean by that comment vleader.
